Great post from syattfitness...⁣ ⁣ Sugar isn’t inherently bad for you.⁣ -⁣ You can 100% include sugar in your diet while improving your health, body composition and relationship with food.⁣ -⁣ But.⁣ -⁣ It’s obviously easier to overeat donuts and poptarts and cookies than it is to overeat kimchi and salmon and spinach.⁣ -⁣ With that said...⁣ -⁣ People often ask me how to get rid of sugar cravings.⁣ -⁣ They say they have a huge sweet tooth and “need” dessert every night and they, “just can’t help it”⁣ -⁣ I tell them...you *can* help it.⁣ -⁣ It’s not easy.⁣ -⁣ It’s not fun.⁣ -⁣ It’s not all unicorns and rainbow sprinkles.⁣ -⁣ But you can help it.⁣ -⁣ And the only way to curb your sugar cravings is to, first, understand you can and do have control.⁣ -⁣ Then.⁣ -⁣ Don’t give in every time they start clawing at you.⁣ -⁣ You have discipline.⁣ -⁣ You have self control.⁣ -⁣ You have a choice.⁣ -⁣ Remember.⁣ -⁣ I’m not saying sugar is bad for you.⁣ -⁣ It isn’t.⁣ -⁣ Nor am I saying sugar will ruin all of your progress.⁣ -⁣ It won’t.⁣ -⁣ I literally just ate vanilla bread pudding and a cookie after my seminar here in Newfoundland.⁣ -⁣ But I am saying this...⁣ -⁣ If you consistently overeat sugar...and you struggle to find balance...and you want to get rid of the cravings...⁣ -⁣ You must first go through a process of not giving into them.⁣ -⁣ It will be hard.⁣ -⁣ It won’t be fun.⁣ -⁣ You will struggle.⁣ -⁣ And that’s ok.⁣ -⁣ Because if you really do want to get a hold of your cravings...you’ll prioritize it and you’ll do it.⁣ -⁣ And eventually you’ll be able to eat sugar in moderation without it being an “all or nothing,” “binge/purge” process.⁣ -⁣ Some call it “intuitive eating.”⁣ -⁣ Which is great.⁣ -⁣ But before you can become an “intuitive eater,” you first need to teach your body how to eat appropriately.⁣ -⁣ Love you.⁣ -⁣ #sugar #diet #dieting #diets #dietitian #dieting #weightloss #weightlosstransformation #keto #ketogenicdiet #ketotransformation #personaltrainer

🔰QUAL A FUNCIONALIDADE DESSE EXERCÍCIO? . 📛Bem, o Single Limb Deadlift 🇺🇸 ou Levantamento terra unilateral 🇧🇷 é um excelente exercício para a prevenção de lesões no joelho. . 🔰Pelas ações do dia a dia é muito comum realizarmos movimentos que exijam a extensão do joelho mais ostensivamente à flexão, o que eleva o desequilíbrio na razão de força Ísquiotibiais/Quadríceps (caso não saiba o que é isso, vá ao meu perfil na semana do Joelho, explico tudo bem direitinho). . 🔰Em um estudo recente (J Athletic Training 2012;47(4):396-405) foi visto que nesse exercício tivemos uma razão I/Q muito pequena (2.87) o que mostra uma excelente estratégia no trabalho de estabilidade e prevenção de lesões nessa articulação. . 📛Na minha prática clínica incluo também esse exercício no trabalho de dores no joelho como Dor Patelofemoral, tendinite patelar e Condromalácia. . 🤳Quer treinar sob a supervisão e orientação de um Profissional capacitado e atualizado? Only CrossFit (and probably fitter than most of you reading, with 21 unbroken muscle ups, 21 unbroken strict handstand push ups etc). Huge hormonal issue because of wrong training and terrible recovery. 101kg on the right. Way smarter training. Proper recovery protocols. A lot more muscle mass WHILE drop in body fat %. Oh and according to BMI that NHS uses this is OBESE person 😂 If you don't train properly and have not sorted your nutrition your chances of progress equal 0%, it doesn't matter how many years you will sacrifice or how many more times you will fall into a scam your gym promotes of 4 week transformation bullshit. I was amazed to hear that changing the grip to an underhand can improve your upper chest activation so much! Credit to gerardiperformance --- Original post -- 😱BIGGER CHEST HACK😱 — 🧠Research shows that by simply going from an over to underhand grip, upper chest activation increases by about 30% in FLAT bench press. However, doing incline, which is used to target the upper pecs and give the chest that nice 3D look, only increases upper chest activation 5-10% compared to the flat overhand bench press — 💪🏼SO, what I did is combine both the incline bench press and the reverse grip bench press to create that Reverse Grip Incline Bench Press. This will get you the highest activation of the upper pecs, which is key for a big chest! — 👉🏼To do the exercise: Grip the bar slightly wider than shoulder width so the chest is being target and not the triceps. Bring the bar down to the lower chest near the nipple line then press back up. Be sure to keep your shoulder down and into the bench. Bringing the bar too high on your chest will cause the elbows to flare and increase your risk of injury. — Give these a go for 3 sets of 10 reps and I bet you feel your upper chest fibers firing like never before 👍🏼 — ✅DM ME FOR COACHING OR CLICK THE LINK IN MY BIO - - -
