😍💪🏼 so excited to be sharing this with you guys! the internet is so helpful with finding new workouts but it can be so overwhelming! i always loved the fitgirlsguide workout calendars and i did the #28dayjumpstart workouts and am now finishing up the #fitkinibodychallenge workouts! i only have one more week to go but i realized i wanted to make my own calendar with my favorite workouts to do next. i also wanted something i could share with you and i wanted it to target different areas of the body for toning and strength. i wanted it to work for me and also all different levels! i’m sharing it here for free, and as i go along i will post pics or vids of the workouts i’m using to make sure i’m doing them right/for form and safety! i am not a trainer or a professional by any means, but there are plenty of resources online to help you if you want to follow along. i also tried to find workouts you can do at home with no equipment or with weights for a challenge, which is usually how i do my workouts after my cardio. you can do this with or without cardio, at your pace, and you can sub the stretch days for rest days, but i wanted an easy day in there (and a reminder to stretch!!) notice it doesn’t start on a monday, bc day 1 is whenever you want it to be! i’m going to post this to my pinterest for anyone who wants to download, and please feel free to share. fitness should be fun and easy, and i hope this helps anyone looking to get into a routine or just looking for some workout ideas 😌💭👍🏼💪🏼👟 let’s do this! . . . . . . . . #fitgirl #fitness #fitspo #workouts #workout #workoutideas #workoutcalendar #strength #tone #toningworkout #armworkout #legday #legworkout #bootyworkout

Wrecking your recovery isn’t just about not sleeping enough and being stressed. It’s also about the simple battle of energy expenditure and energy intake. In other words, you can’t spend money “your energy to workout” that you don’t have. . . . Food and nutrition is and your fuel. Your nutrition should match your goals for training and your training should match your nutritional allowance. Together they work hand in hand. There is no reason for you to think that you can skimp on one and the other will be fine. . . Training too much and not getting proper fueling is contextual to each other. Eating right for the demands you place on the body are key and if you increase the effort being exerted in the weight room and are not matching these demands with proper fueling, then your ability to recover will be jeopardized. . . Here is a really cool finding from the EROS study (the endocrine and metabolic response on overtraining syndrome study). . . The researchers had originally looked at non-trained, healthy trained and deemed overtrained athletes in the study. They went through a series of physical and non-physical stressors and retrospectively the realized that the healthy athletes, regardless of type of stressor had a better HPA axis endocrine response. . . The athletes went through an Insulin Tolerance Test (non-physical) and an exercise stress test. What they found was a higher level of hormonal adaptive “resilient” response to the stressor from the trained athletes whether it was the exercise stress test or the insulin tolerance test. This is pretty awesome and may lead to some more related research around this topic, but the idea is that exercise and training makes us more universally adaptable. . . Fire hydrant exercise on cables: Starting with the right leg: put cable on the right ankle, move far enough to the RIGHT...where you have tension in your hip abductors. I like to start with a full range motion kick back then cross into the fire hydrant. After 5 reps or so then isolate your hip abductors by doing just a fire hydrant. You are going up too high with the kick if your opposite hip dips down during the movement. Go up high enough to feel your glutes & hold it. This is a great exercise to do before a big leg day. It helps open up your hips. It also creates a great mind muscle connection with your booty!

Nykyään tavallisilla kuntosalitreenaajilla näkee jos jonkinlaista purkkia ja välillä mietityttääkin, että luulevatko ihmiset oikeasti tarvitsevansa tuota kaikkea? On yöproteiinia, proteiinikahvia yms. lista jatkuisi loputtomiin!😅 Kuten jo nimikin kertoo kyseessä on lisäravinne eli ei mikään välttämättömyys. • Treeniurani alussa itsekkin tuli ostettua jos jonkinlaista purkkia. Kuitenkin pikku hiljaa minulle on muodostunut ns. "must have"-tuotteet joita käytän lähes päivittäin. 1️⃣ Fast Intra! Mun ehdoton suosikki ja luottotuote. Intrasta ollaan montaa mieltä, mutta itselläni se toimii ja ainakin se tuo kivaa makua treenijuomaan. Tää tuote kannattaa ainakin testata, koska hinta tässä on kohdillaan. Fastin nettikaupassa 14,90/kpl 🔥 2️⃣ Fast Vitargo. Toinen luottotuotteistani joka auttaa läpi kovimpienkin jalkatreenien. Tää tuote nyt ei selittelyjä kaipaa 🤷🏻‍♂️🔥 • Näiden lisäksi kaapista löytyy aina hera- sekä palkkaripussi varmuuden vuoksi mikäli en ehdi muuta heti "syömään". As busy adults with a lot of competing demands, our life circumstances are rarely ideal and stuff always seems to be popping up. We often find ourselves in a time crunch. 🤷‍♂️ • I got to the gym yesterday with the expectation I was going to have an hour + to go through my planned #strengthtraining session. Within 5 minutes of walking through the door, shit started to roll down hill, my phone was blowing up, and there were unexpected things that needed my attention. 🤷‍♂️ • So instead of scrapping the session, knowing I only had about 30 minutes, I made the best of it and adjusted on the fly. Turned out to be a fantastic #workout and a blessing in disguise. 👌 • The 10-10-10 time strapped solution is something I’d recommend if your schedule blows up in your face. Pick one pushing exercise and one pulling #exercise -for me this was a dumbbell bench press and a seated machine chest supported row-(or one quad dominant and one hip dominant exercise if training lower body) and do the following after a couple quick ramp up/warm up sets: 👍 • All out set of 10 reps (try to set a rep PR) to muscular failure ✔️ • Immediately cut the weight in half and do another 10+ reps ✔️ • Immediately cut the weight in half again and do a final set of 10+ reps ✔️ • You’ll hammer everything in about 15 minutes.
